L'objet est de développer le rôle des kinésithérapeutes dans la prévention primaire afin de favoriser le « bien vieillir » de la population française en lien avec les projets du Ministère de la santé (Plan antichute des personnes âgées 2022) et de l'OMS. À cet effet, la Commission Santé publique a établi un score fonctionnel de dépistage de la fragilité motrice. La faisabilité a été testée à l'Hôpital de la Porte Verte durant 6 mois.
Le score fonctionnel finalisé, accompagné d'un guide méthodologique destiné au masseur-kinésithérapeute, a été publié sur le site de l'Ordre en juin 2022 et les documents sont téléchargeables. Selon le score obtenu, des conseils et un programme de préservation des capacités locomotrices sont mis en place par le kinésithérapeute ainsi qu'une orientation vers le médecin traitant ou le gériatre s'il existe des troubles associés.

METHODOLOGICAL GUIDELINE AND FUNCTIONAL SCORE
SCREENING BY PHYSICAL THERAPISTS FOR MOTOR FRAILTY USING A FUNCTIONAL SCORE IN PEOPLE OVER 65-YEARS-OLD, LIVING AT HOME
The aim is to develop the role of physiotherapists in primary prevention in order to promote the “ageing well” of the French population in line with the projects of the Ministry of Health (Plan antichute des personnes âgées 2022) and of the WHO. To this end, the Public Health Commission has established a functional screening score for motor frailty. The feasibility was tested at the Green Door Hospital for 6 months.
The finalized functional score accompanied by a methodological guide for physiotherapists was published on the Ordre's website in June 2022 and the documents can be downloaded. Depending on the score obtained, advice and a program to preserve locomotor capacities are set up by the physiotherapist as well as a referral to the attending physician or the geriatrician if there are associated disorders.
