Several studies have shown the significant prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) throughout the world and the costs associated with the disease rise regularly.
Pulmonary rehabilitation which has been proven to be effective is aimed at decreasing exacerbations as well as improving patients'symptoms and quality of life. Despite the benefits for patients, compliance has been shown to be insufficient to control their disease.
