Patellofemoral syndrome (PFS) is characterized by a biomechanical disorder of the patellofemoral joint and overall lower limb, dynamic and static, generating anterior knee pain. In this paper, we propose a gluteus medius strengthening rehabilitation (the main muscle of the stance phase), without strengthening the tensor fascia lata, who are responsible for shortening of the lateral retinaculum. The patient will be the main actor in the rehabilitation and will realize its biomechanical disorder. He will make a home-based exercise program. This will be guided by a self-report questionnaire collecting postexercises pain and difficulty of their execution.
