A physiotherapist is often confronted by a degenerative shoulder, an elevated humerus or an atypical scpulo-humeral rhythm whereby the common cause is scapula dyskinesia. The scapula movement is often diffi cult to interpret but its impact on the physiopathology of the shoulder is often highlighted. This article proposes several practical elements to evaluate and treat these dyskinesias so that each therapist can easily integrate the scapula-thoracic component into their management.
