La profession de kinésithérapeute constitue une catégorie de population qui n'échappe pas aux Violences Sexistes et Sexuelles (VSS). Si l'immense majorité des professionnels est irréprochable, malheureusement un certain nombre souillent par leur comportement toute la communauté et mettent en danger leurs patients. Au-delà d'une approche affective, il convenait d'objectiver le phénomène.
L'analyse de l'activité disciplinaire de l'Ordre des kinésithérapeutes permet pour la première fois d'apporter des données quantitatives et qualitatives. Leur publication est inédite et constitue à ce jour la seule référence.

Physiotherapists are a category of the population that is not immune to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). While the vast majority of professionals are impeccable, unfortunately a number of them degrade the entire community with their behaviour and put patients at risk. Beyond an emotional approach, it was necessary to objectify the phenomenon.
By analysing the disciplinary activity of the Ordre des kinésithérapeutes, we are able to provide quantitative and qualitative data for the first time. Their report is unpublished and is the only reference to date.
