This study explores the challenges of home physiotherapy practice and the application of Evidence-based Practice in this context.
Analysis of the literature, interviews and autoethnography reveal the challenges associated with adapting to the terrain, interprofessional collaboration and focusing on patient preferences.
The article highlights the potential benefits and obstacles to be overcome for a truly patient-centred approach in a wider environment that takes the therapist into account.
