Knee replacement surgery is booming for about a century. There are diverse prostheses types designed to replace one or more compartments of the knee. In all cases, rehabilitation has an important role to restore the knee indolence, mobility, stability and function. Patients undergo surgery to regain a pain-free walking. In the absence of immediate or late complications, this is usually achieved if the indication was well put up front. Indeed, the rehabilitation is long and requires good patient cooperation. After a short postoperative stay where early rehabilitation is started, this one is then pursue in follow-up and rehabilitative care (SSR) or liberal physiotherapy. For a functional knee, it takes to regain a walk without limping and without pain, a flexion of at least 110 ° (except for hinges prostheses), an active lock quadriceps and good vigilance of the knee's four quadrants.
